The 19th and 20th of June could be the most downright useful two days of 2010 for parents, parents-to-be, or anyone trying to find just the right products and services for people with children under five.
Nearly 100 businesses will descend on the TSB Arena on those two days to transform it into the place to be for everyone in the Wellington region with babies on the brain. Every conceivable product and service, advice and entertainment aimed at new and experienced parents will be at the ASG Parent and Child Show Wellington.
You'll find an amazing range of products on sale from established brands like Philips Avent, Only Organic, Huggies, Persil, Bio Oil, BabyLove, Tommee Tippee, and Baby First, to many younger brands like Breastmates, Princess Ratbag, Baby Vintage, and Mocka. Explore this website to find out about special offers and competitions open to visitors at the show.
In between shopping, take time to attend the free parenting seminars in the Tommee Tippee Seminar Theatre on diverse topics including nutrition, feeding tips, Plunket support services, breastfeeding, and you won't want to miss Kathy Fray, author of the popular parenting book, 'OH BABY'. Kathy will be presenting seminars on a topic close to every parents hearts: 'Why They Cry – Understanding Baby Body-Language Signs'.
We're extremely proud to offer parents at this year's show the BabyLove Parents Room. Built with tired parents in mind, it features comfy couches, change tables, a microwave for heating bottles and food, and an endless supply of complimentary nappies from BabyLove. (Try BabbyLove's new 'Poo Poo Pouch', a new nappy designed specifically to handle doo doo explosions!)
And to keep you and the littlies entertained, there are singing and dancing shows throughout the day, plus magicians and – for the first time ever at The ASG Parent and Child Show – the WotWots performing live twice daily. Come and meet the wonderful WotWots. Join in as SpottyWot and DottyWot sing and dance to their favourite animal songs.
This is most definitely the show made with you and your child in mind – so diarise the show dates (19 and 20 June) and buy your ticket online now (adults $10 per person, under 12s free).
